Frank was a 3-year starter at Guard for the Lansdale High School Huskies, earning one gold and two white letters.  He played on the 1945 Championship Team as a sophomore, and was an All Bux-Mont performer his junior and senior years – Most Valuable Player Award in 1947, and Outstanding Player on Thanksgiving Day versus Doylestown H.S. (33-0).

In the Spring of 1947, Frank was Bux-Mont and District Discus Champion, repeated that honor in 1948.  Lansdale High School was the Bux-Mont Champion both years.

In 1949-50, Frank played football at West Chester Teachers College, then joined the U.S. Marine Corps and played football for the Cherry Point Flyers.

Frank and his wife Nancy have been married 54 years.  They have two sons, Jeff and Gregg.  A life-long resident of Lansdale, Frank was self-employed in construction and real estate.
