Cross Country: Co-captain his senior year winning the Bux-Mont, District One and the PIAA AAA State individual Cross Country Championship.

Indoor Track:  Blair was invited to run in the high school mile at the Millrose Games, New York City, placing fourth. At the Indoor Track State Meet Blair was runner up in the 1600 meter run and he anchored the 2mile relay to a second placed finish; helping North Penn win its first Indoor State Track title.  Blair qualified for the mile run at the Eastern States meet, Princeton NJ.  He won the mile running the 3rd fastest east coast mile time ever, 4:11.6 and a new school record; which still stands today, 26 years later.

Spring Track; Blair co-captain the spring track team his senior year.  He had a number of individual wins and anchored Distance Medley and 2mile relays to numerous wins. At the Penn Relays he anchored the 2mile relay in the Championship of America final to a second place finish; anchored North Penn in the Bux-Mont league 4X400m relay to a win for the second year; also at the Penn Relays he qualified to run the high school 1500 meter run which he won and was named “The Outstanding Schoolboy Track athlete “of the Penn Relays.  At the Bux-Mont league Championship he won the 800m, for the second year, 1600m run and anchored the 4X800m relay and the 4X400m relay to wins which help North Penn win the Bux-Mont League Championship for the third straight year.  At the District One Meet he won the 800meters and anchored the 4X800m Relay to a win.  He placed second in the 1600meters helping North Penn win its second District title in as many years.  At the PIAA AAA State Track Championship Blair qualified for the finals in the 800m, 1600m and the 4X800m Relay.  He anchored the 4X800m relay to a first place finish with a new PIAA AAA state recorded and school recorded of 7:42.65.  He then won the 1600m and placed second in the 800meters helping North Penn to its first PIAA AAA Track championship.

Records:  seven class records; soph. class records 800m, 1600m & 3200meters; Jr. & Sr. class records in the 800m & 1600meters; school records in the 800meters and 1600meters (present school record); member of the school record Distance Medley relay & PIAA State Record & school record 4X800m.
