11 Varsity letters; PIAA AAA State Track & Field Team Championship in 1995 and 1997; PIAA AAA State Champion 4X800m Relay; 4th Place 4X400m Relay, 1995; PIAA AAA State Champion 800m and 4X800m Relay, 1996; PIAA AAA State Champion 1600m; 3rd Place 800m, 1997; PIAA AAA State Champion 4X800m Relay; 3rd Place 4X400m Relay, 1997; NPHS records in the 800m, 1600m, 4X400m Relay, and 4X800m Relay; Named First Team All-State in the 1600m and 4X800m Relay, 1997; Track Scholarship to University of North Carolina; Co-Captain of the University of North Carolina Cross County team, 2001; All-Atlantic Coast Conference Team, 2001; All American at the University of North Carolina, 2001; Member of the distance medley relay team that won the first ever UNC; Penn Relays Championship of America, setting a UNC school record, 2001.

Beth was Co-Captain in Cross Country and Track and Field.


Beth, during her high school career earned 11 varsity letters; 4 in Cross Country; 3 in Winter Track and 4 in Spring Track & Field.  She was a big part of North Penn’s two PIAA State Track & Field Championships.  In 1993 she was a member of the second place NPHS Cross Country Team PIAA State Championship Meet. In 1995 Beth qualified and ran the 800m;  ran a leg on the 4th place 4X400m relay setting a school record; anchored the 4X800m relay to a 1st place finish and leading North Penn to its first PIAA State Track & Field Championship.  In 1995 & 1997 she ran 4 X 800 Penn Relays Championship of America. In 1996 PIAA State Championship she placed first in the 800m setting a new school record and anchored the first place 4X800m relay setting a new North Penn school record.  In 1997 Beth placed 3rd in the 800m; ran on the 4X400m relay placing 3rd in a new North Penn school record; winning the 1600 meters in a new North Penn school record and anchoring the first place 4X800m relay setting a new school record; helping North Penn win a second PIAA State

Championship. Also in 1997 she placed 2nd in 800m National Scholastic Outdoor Track Championship Meet in Raleigh, North Carolina. In her career Beth has or is apart of 4 school records, which still stand today, 800m, 1600m, 4X400m relay and the 4X800m relay.

Beth attended the University of North Carolina on a Track scholarship.  In 2001 she led off the University of North Carolina’s distance medley relay which won the college Championship of America. This was the first UNC women’s Penn Relays Championship of Americas win. In 2000 she was named All Region, NCAA District III Cross Country. She also ran the

1500 m in the NCAA outdoor championships. In 2001, named All –American and earned 2ndplace Distance Medley Relay, ran in the NCAA indoor track championships setting a new school record at that time. She also ran in the NCAA outdoor championships in the 1500m. She was named All-Atlantic Coast Conference and placed second in the 1500m outdoor championships. In 2001, Beth was named co-captain of the UNC cross country team.

Beth currently lives in New York City with her new husband (as of 03/04/07), Justin Cisar. She attends Rockefeller University and is working toward a PhD in chemical biology. She is a member of the Warren Street Athletic Club and currently runs in road races, marathons, and triathlons.
