TRACK MVP ( 1965 ); team high scorer; League Champion – shot put & discus; league record in both events; District Champion ( 1965 ) discus, 2nd place – shot put; set district discus record – still stands at 40 years and counting; State Champion  (1965) Discus ; Set state discus record – stood for 20 years; North Penn High School discus record still stands – 40 years;  Held North Penn High shot put record for 35 years;  Penn Relays Champion – shot put (1965); Indoor Track shot put – undefeated (1964-65); Spring Track dual meet and invitationals - undefeated in discus and shot put until 2nd place in shot at district championships; Lettered  3 years (No9th graders on Sr. High team at that time, also no letters were given for winter track in those days); member of the record setting shuttle hurdle relay team; ran 14.9 sec. in the high hurdles; first eastern thrower to be invited to the Golden West Invitational Track and Field Meet.

COLLEGE TRACK  Full scholarship to the University of New Mexico; Oklahoma Relays – 3 time champion – discus; Western Athletic Conference – champion and record holder – discus; West Coast Relays – Discus Champion; Texas Relays – champion and stadium record holder – discus; NCAA Championships - 5th place discus; University of New Mexico– school record holder discus since 1967; NCAA Track and Field Championships Champion – discus; 1968 qualified for Olympic Trials – 5thplace; 1970 – Outstanding College Athlete in America – ranked in top 3 discus from 1968 through 1972.
